Tour of Nederpeel, Leudal and Beegderheide

In Central Limburg, it is wonderful to cycle along nature reserves and cultural history. Recreation park De Leistert is a wonderful place to stay. Especially if you get on your bike to explore this region. First, you will pass through the church village of Roggel. A little later, you will cycle into the Leudal, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Limburg. It is intersected by the Tungelroyse Beek, locally called the Leubeek. You will find a variety of wet and dry forests there. Don't fall off your bike when you see Kasteel Horn: it is one of the oldest, still intact ring wall castles in the Netherlands. Then you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Beegder Heide and the rippling water of the Boschmolerplas.
