Tour of Kampina

Be surprised by the Kampina. First you walk into the mixed forests that surround the meandering Rosep. Just before junction 48 you cross this river, an idyllic spot. A little further on you look out over the large Belversven. Typical and often rare plants such as swamp deer hay, rush fern and shoreweed grow around the fen. After a while you walk onto the vast moors for which the Kampina is known. Its rich flora and fauna make it one of the most valuable heath areas in our country. The Icelandic horses that graze here add to the feeling of walking through an untouched landscape. Grab a bench and enjoy the serene silence, before walking back through the woods to Het Boscafé for a terrace.
