Tour of Breda and Mastbos from Zevenbergen

Your cycling route starts with a cup of coffee at Hotel de Borgh. From Zevenbergen you drive into Breda where you can view the Grote Kerk, Breda Castle and the Beguinage. You can relax on a terrace on the Grote Markt before cycling into the Mastbos. This forest dates back to the sixteenth century. You will see stately beech avenues, but also conifers. It is wonderfully quiet to drive here. From Rijsbergen you cycle to De Pannenhoef, an old peat area. Until the seventeenth century, plenty of peat was extracted here. Now there is a beautiful nature reserve of forests, fens and flowery meadows. Via Etten-Leur you drive back to your starting point in Zevenbergen, the last part you cycle close to the lazily meandering Mark.
