Description
The starting point is at the VVV Oosterhout on Arendsplein in the center. If you have time, you should definitely visit the (partly covered) Arendshof shopping center where you can enjoy some wonderful fun shopping.
The route then heads towards the Dorst Forestry, where between junctions 88, 40 and 42 you have the chance to spot Scottish Highlanders in the wild, a beautiful sight. Previously, this nature reserve, called Surae, was a lake where you could swim and recreate. Nowadays it is an area that has been returned to nature and where nature can take its course undisturbed.
The route continues towards Molenschot, a place that has no fewer than 6 national monuments: Herberg De Drie Linden, the Saint Anna Chapel, the Holy Anne statue, a Neo-Gothic statue on the forecourt of the Anna Chapel, the Holy Anne Church, the Calvary Cross and the former Rectory.
After this beautiful place you can take a rest at café Schutterslust. After this you will successively pass through the upper part of the Chaamse Bos, the Sint Annabos and the Ulvenhoutse Bos. You reach the Burgundian city of Breda via the castle of Bouvigne.

After this large city with all its charm, continue the route towards Den Hout. A beautiful cycle path along the canal takes you to the fairytale Pannekoeckershuys.
After perhaps a delicious pancake, you continue the road past Molen De Hoop to the Houtse Heuvel. A beautiful resting place where it seems as if time has stood still.
After visiting this beautiful village center, you cycle back via the locks to the Oosterhout Tourist Office where the route ends.
