Your walk starts at the Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem.
The Groot Warnsborn estate, located on the outskirts of Arnhem, has a rich history dating back to the 15th century. Over the centuries, the estate has changed hands several times and played an important role as a country retreat for prominent families. In the 19th century, it acquired its characteristic English landscape garden, designed by the renowned landscape architect Zocher. During World War II, the main building was severely damaged but lovingly rebuilt afterward.
