Via Schagen, where you can visit several museums, you'll cycle to Julianadorp. This village was originally called Loopuyt. In honor of the birth of Princess Juliana in 1909, Loopuyt was renamed Julianadorp. At junction 10, you'll pass through the former hamlet of De Blauwe Keet, which developed here in 1824 following the excavation work for the North Holland Canal. As you cycle along the coast, you'll see Groote Kaap, a steel lighthouse almost seventeen meters high, in the distance. In Callantsoog, you'll pass De Zwaan, a hollow post mill from 1993 that raises the water level in the area. On the church square stands the Reformed Church from 1580, a national monument with its beautiful tower from 1671.
