On a cycling holiday in the Netherlands? Come to Utrecht and explore the Netherlands in your own way. Cycle through the historic city center and discover the beautiful green surroundings of Utrecht. Less than 10 minutes by bike from the center, you are in the middle of nature and between mills, forts and castles. You won't get more in the Netherlands!

This typically Dutch route takes you past typical Dutch landscapes and offers a variety of historical hotspots. The route starts in the medieval center of Utrecht and quickly takes you into the versatile nature of the region. You will encounter the following places along the way: Maarssen, (Breukelen, Haarzuilens, Vleuten) Oud Zuilen, Groenekan, De Bilt and Bunnik. The route ends again in Utrecht. 

The route takes approximately 2.5 hours. Tip! get off your bike in between to see the forts up close or have a cup of coffee at one of the many cafes and restaurants along the route.
