Description
Boekelo was still called Bokel in 1450. The name would mean Beukenbos. Today they know the bookeltje here as a tasty herbal liqueur. Definitely try! You also walk past Boekelo MBS: you can take a break here. Take a look at the Museum Buurtspoorweg, which owns old steam and diesel trains. Historic locomotives drive from station to station on narrow gauge railways, if you like you can take a ride. We bet that after this walk you will also say:"Bookel is gloops beautiful?\\\"
