Cycling between Veghel and Boxtel

Enjoy a varied day of cycling between Veghel and Boxtel. First, you'll cycle through the Wijboschbroek. In this nature reserve, you'll still see the poplar landscape that was so characteristic of this region from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. You'll then pass through the heart of Schijndel, after which you'll cycle through the Geelders. This nature reserve consists of a mix of forest, hedgerows, and farmland. In the heart of Boxtel, you'll see several beautiful old buildings, such as St. Peter's Basilica, which originally dates back to the thirteenth century. Via the Venrode estate, you'll cycle to the next charming village, Sint-Michielsgestel. Just after crossing the Dommel River, you'll see, among other things, a detached tower: the remains of a fifteenth-century church. Along the way, stop at 't Skupke Schijndel!
