City walk through the heart of Eindhoven

After a cup of coffee at Het Cruydenhuisch in Stratum, you put on your walking shoes. How about a walk along the Dommel, the river that runs through the city like a green-blue ribbon? You also walk a bit through the adjacent Oud Stratum, one of the old centres of Eindhoven and the Genneper Parken stream valley area. The Dommel and the meandering Tongelreep rivers run through this urban nature reserve. From the city park you can see the High Tech Campus in the distance, it sometimes looks like Central Park. Americans sometimes have the feeling in Eindhoven that they are walking around in 'Little New York'. The Genneper Molen, a water mill, was first mentioned in 1249, the year in which it was donated to the Postel Abbey.
