Through the bulb region of North Holland

Walk among the beautiful fields of the Bollenstreek and smell the sweet scents of all the flowers while enjoying phenomenal panoramas. Bring the camera, because this region is considered one of the most colorful regions in the world and produces beautiful pictures. Between and behind the wide sand ridges and extensive dunes, strips of green meadows and bulb fields alternate. Bright red, canary yellow, soft orange, bright white or sweet pink: every bulb field has a different shade. The colorful spring and summer seasons are heralded by the blooming of crocuses at the end of March. The beautiful shades of different types of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths then continue quickly, while in late summer gladiolus, dahlias, carnations and asters provide a second beautiful sea of color!
