Description

Ter Nose was founded in 1300. This small Zeeland settlement grew considerably thanks to the water connection with Ghent. Today we know the full-fledged port city as Terneuzen. Despite the economic prosperity, the place managed to retain its own character and charm. You start and end your wonderful tour from here. You will soon cycle past the Eben Haezer windmill. The round stone belt mill was built in 1807 and remained in use as a flour mill until 1952. You arrive in Kloosterzande through vast polders and typical Dutch views.
