You start this route on the edge of Park Nuenen, which enjoys a protected village view. You will see some monumental buildings, such as the Holy Clemens Church from 1871. You can walk further to the countryside at your leisure. Here you pass the seventeenth-century Collse Mill, which was painted in 1884 by Vincent van Gogh. From junction 77 you walk a bit along the Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path. Here, fluorescent stars have been incorporated into the asphalt as a tribute to The Starry Night, a world-famous work by Van Gogh. The Opwettensemolen was built around the eleventh century and has had many functions, such as a flour mill and tannery. You walk the last part of the route through Nuenen again, where you pass, among other things, a war monument. At Comigo Lunchroom & Restaurant you can enjoy a delicious meal.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
