The beautiful polders of North Holland

Just behind the North Holland coast, cycling through the vast polders is beautiful. There is a lot of cultural history to experience here. This way you cross the Noordhollandsch Kanaal via one of the five remaining raft bridges in the Netherlands. You also cycle over the monumental West Frisian Omringdijk. Here you have a beautiful view over the meadows and characteristic bell-shaped farms. In Schoorl you pass the Kijkduin Mill from 1772. Further on you cycle past the old Witte Kerkje in Groet, after which you cycle through the Harger and Pettemerpolder. The Hargermolen from 1804 still drains the polders here, but on a voluntary basis. You can fully enjoy the peace and quiet. Take a break at Pancake Restaurant Buiten near Petten! The last kilometers you drive past the bulb fields in the Zijpepolder.
