Tour Wolink Estate

Just south of Haarlo you pass the Wolink, a fine example of a typical Achterhoek camp landscape. These'camps\\\' around an old farm consist of a small-scale mosaic of high fields, forests and standard orchards. On the Wolink estate you always have beautiful views of the monumental farm. There are more than sixty species of birds, such as the black woodpecker, tawny owl and nuthatch that nest here in the old trees. The route also takes you through the village of Haarlo, where the residents call the octagonal historic church De Kluntjespot (sugar bowl).
