Description
This route takes you through Boxtel in Brabant. You will pass some sights, through the Dommeldal and through the Sparrenrijk Estate.
Small Earth
Then you walk through Boxtel. You will pass, among other things, the famous De Kleine Aarde eco park. You walk through the old village center with its beautiful historic buildings. For example, you pass the Basilica of St. Peter, which originally dates from the thirteenth century.
Sparrenrijk estate
Just above Boxtel you walk onto the Sparrenrijk Estate. This area is characterized by a pattern of straight, tree-lined avenues in a rectangular pattern. You mainly see conifers and a few meadows. A wonderful area to relax and enjoy nature. Woodpeckers breed in the forest, and it is always nice to hear their drumming.
