The ice cream makers of IJssalon IJstijd Garderen know their trade. It is not for nothing that they have attended courses many times in recent years, even in Italy! Ice cream lovers from all over the region (and from far beyond) have long found their way to the Ice Age ice cream parlors in Garderen, Beekbergen and Voorthuizen. On the map you will find more than forty types of ice cream. Such as trusted classics such as strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. In the display cases you will also find very special flavors such as Nut Explosion, After Eight and Yoghurt-Amarena. At IJssalon IJstijd you will experience the taste of real artisanal ice cream!

Our monumental farm't Molentje is located in a beautiful and royal spot just outside Garderen. Why royal you may think? This farm, built in 1864, was located on the old highway from Apeldoorn to Amersfoort and was used as an inn. Many passers-by preferred not to travel through the woods in the dark and spent the night here. So is King William III. With his entourage he made a royal stopover at't Molentje. Our cuisine is Dutch with a Veluwe accent. A little tip, our pancakes are delicious. The doors were first opened in 1893, so you can safely call it a nostalgic spot on the Veluwe.
