Sights
Wijmarsche watermolen
The Wijmarsche watermill belonged to the Arcen castle. This mill was a ban mill and that meant that surrounding farmers were obliged to have their grain milled here. As a result, the landlords of Arcen knew exactly how much grain was ground and how much tax they could levy. The mill was badly damaged during the Second World War. The mill was restored in the eighties and is currently used as a grain mill again.
