Cycling route between Mook and Afferden

This route takes you through the border region of Limburg, Brabant, and Gelderland. First, you'll find yourself over the wooded slopes south of Nijmegen. At Plasmolen, you can take a look at R14. Here, you can still see the contours of what was once the largest Roman villa in the Netherlands. The route also takes you through Maasduinen National Park. Enjoy the unique natural surroundings, after which you can stop in Afferden for a drink at the Langstraat 2 Grand Cafe & Cafetaria, a cozy terrace. Then you head north again, passing through Gennep. Just outside this town, there's a lookout tower in the floodplains, offering stunning views of the surroundings. Cycle along the Mookerplas lake and through Mook back to the parking lot.
