Description
Nearby you should immediately get off for R14: Roman villa - the Roman villa of Plasmolen, the largest in the Netherlands. The villa was equipped with every luxury and comfort: underfloor heating, a special bath building, murals, mosaic floors and a terraced garden. In order not to disturb nature, only the contours of the villa are indicated. The first part of the route takes you through De Maasduinen National Park, the longest river dune belt in the Netherlands. Then you drive many kilometers along the banks of the Maas. You also drive past the Mookerplas and Mookerheide near Mook.
