From IJzendijke to the North Sea coast

From a historical point of view, IJzendijke has more to offer. In the Middle Ages it was a prosperous trading town with flourishing cloth weaving mills. The nickname"Petit Paris\\\" appeals to the imagination, although the origin of that nickname is not clear. The Markt, the Veste, the IJzendijkse Molen and the oldest Protestant church in Zeeland, as well as the nineteenth-century Cadsandria beer brewery are fun to visit.
