Beautiful nature, an atmospheric river, picturesque villages: this route has it all! You start in Maasbree. The rose village of Lottum is known for its rose cultivation. Twenty million roses are grown in the municipality annually, more than seventy percent of the total production. The old Meuse meanders provide a unique piece of nature in the Broekhuizerbroek and the Houthuizerheide. Damp grasslands, marshes and swamp forests, but also peat lakes stretch out before you here, varying in height and vegetation. The Slottermolen is one of the 51 watermills that Limburg once had. The former medium-speed watermill is connected to the Everlose Beek via a mill pond. The mill dates from 1849, but the mill section is four centuries older.
