Uitkijktoren De Stokte

Uitkijktoren de Stokte 1
7722 VD Dalfsen

De Stokte is a 20-meter observation tower in Dalfsen that was built in 2012. From here you have a beautiful view over the Dalfsen countryside. The tower was built as part of the 'Room for the Vecht' project. Only sustainable materials have been used in the construction and care has been taken to ensure that the tower fits well into the landscape. The stairs of the tower are made of galvanized steel and the cladding of the tower is made of wood. You can look through the wooden panels of the tower to enjoy the surroundings. It is certainly worth the effort to climb the watchtower. You will not find such a beautiful view over Dalfsen anywhere else. On top of the tower is a viewing platform that offers you a wide view over the river Vecht, the Vechtdal and the accompanying wooded landscape. Only if you are afraid of heights, it is unfortunately better to skip this climb.
