You cycle straight through nature to De Grote and Kleine Cirkel on the Peelsche Heide near Reusel. In the 1930s, the street plan of the Champs Elysees and the Place de la Concorde was created in a part of the heath. The circles were great landmarks for pilots in World War II. You drive back via Vessem, a village with centuries-old buildings such as the old town hall,'De Leeuw\\\' and the St. Lambertus Church. Have a cup of coffee nearby at the Véssumse Hoeve! Then you cycle to the village of Duizel, one of the eight villages that belong to the Eight Beatitudes. These villages are said to owe their nickname to Dutch soldiers, who were quartered here during the Belgian Revolution around 1830 and found the region poor.
