Description
Your bike tour starts at Eetcafé Het Centrum in Wellerlooi. Have a cup of coffee here before you get on your bike! The first part of this route takes you through National Park De Maasduinen. You will see an extensive heathland and forests. You may come across a flock of sheep or Galloway cattle along the way. You then cycle along the Maas to Arcen and the Kasteeltuinen Arcen. Enjoy beautiful colours and wonderful scents in the artfully landscaped gardens and be enchanted by the Rosarium with 12,000 roses. Next to the castle you will find the Wijmarse mill. This watermill was built here in 1677 and it is part of the castle of Arcen. A little further on you cross the Maas to the nature of the Schuitwater.
