Through the Antwerp Kempen

This tour takes you through the wooded Antwerp Kempen region. A region where you'll find plenty of peace, fresh air, and a friendly atmosphere. Perfect for recharging your batteries.

High Sleeve
The route starts just outside Kasterlee. You immediately enter the rolling forests of the Hoge Mouw Domain. You'll immediately notice: it's incredibly peaceful here! It's wonderful to cycle for miles among the fragrant conifers. The adjacent De Goorkes nature reserve is also a sight to behold. Then you cycle for a few kilometers through the countryside. The landscape here is a mosaic of fields, flower-filled meadows, stream valleys, and marshland. The Kempen region is truly beautiful!

Peertsbos
In Vorselaar, you can stop for a bite to eat at De Schranshoeve. Enjoy regional products on the cozy terrace, both on the plate and by the glass. Don't linger too long, because many more beautiful kilometers await you! For example, in the Peertsbos, a centuries-old deciduous forest with large oaks and beeches. You'll also drive through the valley of the Kleine Nete, a branch of the Scheldt. At the end of your route, you'll pass a centuries-old watermill.
