Cycling through the Kempen

Get away from it all, into nature! Heath, forest, meandering streams and traces of the past. Discover the history of the Kempen by bike. The starting point of the route is in the cozy Brabant town of Oerle at Gasterij Dorpsgenot, the perfect starting point for a cycling route. The guesthouse is located in the middle of the woods, a wonderful place to stay and enjoy a snack and a drink after your cycling route. During this cycle route you will discover, among other things, the Kempen nature reserve, which is located against the Belgian border. Dirt roads take you past fields and forests. Where the coniferous forests give way, lies the large quiet heath with drifting sand and marshes. An almost fairytale area! You cycle back to Oerle via the surrounding villages.
