Enjoying the Maas lakes

It used to be part of a much larger contiguous heathland and peat area. You will pass through a number of old villages, such as the picturesque Wessem, which enjoys a protected village view. Sometimes it is really worth walking with your bike in hand to take in the surroundings. Thorn is one of those villages where you automatically squeeze your brakes. This place is also called the white village because of the many white facades. The route starts and ends at Gasterie De Knip, where you can enjoy a well-deserved drink and snack before and after the tour.
