Noordwijkerhout Children's Route - Bulbs and dunes

The route climbs slightly to the coast over a gray gravel path (43). A sloping cycle path through the dune area follows. Sand blows across the recently laid asphalt, a herd of deer watches from a distance. Cycling with children mainly means: taking breaks on time. This is possible in the direction of Noordwijk aan Zee thanks to benches in the fine, white sand. After 5 kilometers of dunes, the Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard with large hotels is the next benchmark on the 17 kilometer route. When leaving Noordwijk aan Zee, junction 33 points the way back to Noordwijkerhout. Extensive flower bulb fields can be seen on both sides of the outdated cycle path. A cycle path zigzags along the quiet water of the Oostduinse lake, where children can play in the summer. The tracks on the meter-wide sandy beach reveal that the recreational beach is a popular place.
