Tasteful cycling in the Vechtdal

On this tour you cycle through the beautiful Vecht valley between Zwolle and Dalfsen. The route takes you to a number of culinary stops where pure regional products are offered. Of course you can enjoy these local delicacies in these places. For example, you can find farmer's cheeses and apple juice at the start of your route. Just before Zwolle, the farm shop of't Ecoloar offers a wide range of meat and cheese. In Zwolle you can certainly taste the taste of the Vechtdal. The landscape will also taste good, enjoy the beautiful view during your bike ride. Here you will find picturesque villages, forests and heathland. In this area time seems to go slower, you will find plenty of space and tranquility. During part of the route you drive along the water. First along the Almelose Canal, from Zwolle you drive back to Dalfsen via the winding course of the Overijsselse Vecht. You will cycle past two former castles, Rutenberg and Leemcule. Stop here to relax but also to enjoy these beautiful castles.
