Taste Twente!

With this Taste Cycle Route you can taste the surroundings of Ootmarsum and Denekamp, a beautiful cycling area in Twente. The route leads you past a number of culinary stops where the chefs prepare delicious dishes with fresh and pure local products. You can also visit some local producers of all these Twente delicacies. Besides a pleasure for your taste buds, this region is of course also a feast for the eyes. The route starts and ends in Ootmarsum, the oldest town in Twente. The cozy city center still exudes the atmosphere of earlier times and you will find plenty of terraces where you can relax. You cycle through the green and hilly Dinkel valley, named after the river Dinkel. This valley is one of the few places in our country where the river still has a natural course. Just before Denekamp and at the Lutterzand you can clearly see how the Dinkel meanders through the landscape. Because of the lush bocage landscape you always have a different view, Twente continues to surprise you!
