BahnRadweg: lazy cycling in Hesse

Experience nature, culture and wellness while cycling on former railway lines: they make it easy for you in the Hesse region! You will really be pampered here. This route is easy to do without an e-bike, thanks to the Vulkanradweg, Milseburgradweg, the Ulstertal and the Solztalradweg that you pick up along the way. The alternative route through the Kinzigtal and along the Vogelsberg Südbahn cycle path is also a treat for cyclists. The former railway lines have an excellent road surface, but what is even more important is the low slope (maximum 3%!). To the top is  a piece of cake, it goes down all by itself. The nature parks in Spessart, Vogelsberg and Rhön provide beautiful scenery. You can fully enjoy the views, the beech forests and the river meadows of Nidder, Schlitz, Fulda and Ulster.
