Scharendijke, Brouwershaven and Burgh-Haamstede

Sea, beach, dunes, wind, nature, space and openness: Schouwen-Duiveland has it all. You start the route in Brouwershaven at Moeders at the market. After your bike ride you can enjoy homemade delicacies here: you've earned that after a tour of Schouwen-Duiveland by bike. This route is nice and varied: enjoy the wide interior, the characteristic villages and the views over the water. From Brouwershaven, which has a protected cityscape, you cycle towards Serooskerke and Burghsluis. Don't forget your binoculars, because from Watchtower de Plompetoren you have a phenomenal view. Via Burgh-Haamstede and Slot Haamstede you cycle to Renesse and Scharendijke. Along the Grevelingenmeer you continue the route back to Brouwershaven. Along the way you pass two windmills, including the low tower mill De Haan from 1724.
