With this route you will discover the beautiful Betuwe by means of a large number of sitting arrows. The starting point of your route is a TOP location in Opheusden on the southern bank of the Rhine. Just before the village of Echteld you will see another beautiful spot: Kasteel Wijenburg. And of course the Betuwe itself has a lot to offer. In short: the Betuwe is known as a fruit region and is worth a visit all year round, whether you come for the blossom in spring or during harvest time, when you will find stalls with freshly picked fruit along the side of the road. The fruit garden of the Netherlands!
