Description
In the Bulb Region you can fully enjoy colorful fields. You also drive through wooded dunes and through the beautiful city of Haarlem.
Groenendaal estate
The route starts in Lisse, a beautiful town in the heart of the Bulb Region. As a true flower lover, make a stop at the Keukenhof. You drive through Hillegom and Bennebroek, nice towns where you see special buildings and windmills. Just before Heemstede you pass Landgoed Groenendaal.
Haarlemmerhout
The Haarlemmerhout is one of the oldest urban forests in the Netherlands, partly planted in 1603 during the Eighty Years' War. Further on you cycle through Haarlem, a pleasant town full of old monumental buildings. Enjoy the unique atmosphere before you drive through the wooded dunes. In Aerdenhout you will see many villas, then you will cycle through three connected estates: Woestduin, Vinkenduin and Leyduin. Finally, you drive through the Bollenstreek again, beautiful!
