From Maastricht you will make a trip through the Limburg Hills. You will start in Amby, a beautiful old district of Maastricht. During your bike ride you will discover beautiful places, such as the Geulhemermolen from 1768. Further on is the Sint-Gerlachus church, the adjacent monastery was converted into a castle in the nineteenth century. Valkenburg Castle is a beautiful ruin, from the hill you have a magnificent view. On the Geul you will pass Schaloen Castle, a fairytale castle. It is wonderful to cycle through the hills and one village is even more beautiful than the other. In Wijlre you will pass the old Molen van Otten and a small castle. Via Margraten and Sint Geertruid you cycle to the Maas. Get off in Gronsveld at De Kwizzenjer. You cycle back through Maastricht. Experience the atmosphere!
