Tour of Son, Sint-Oedenrode and Nuenen

From Nuenen you first drive to the Kleine Dommel valley. The river meanders here in a picturesque way through an old cultural landscape. You will see some beautiful old farms here, and you will also pass the Opwetten Watermill from 1764. North of the Wilhelmina Canal you drive through Son and the forests of the Sonse Heide. From junction 19 you cycle into De Scheeken. Here you will see a mix of swamp forests, flowery grasslands and poplars. In the Dorpsstraat of Liempde you can still taste the atmosphere of the former Brabant through the many old buildings. Further on you drive through Sint-Oedenrode and cycle a bit through the Dommeldal. You drive back to Nuenen via Gerwen. Here you can enjoy a cozy terrace at Comigo Lunchroom & Restaurant.
