Tour of Hoenderloo, Ugchelen and Beekbergen

From your starting point you cycle to the extensive Hoenderloose forest and over the Hoog Buurlose heath. In Hoenderloo you can stop off and enjoy a snack and drink at Brasserie Delicat. Hoog Buurloo has traditionally had a few houses and two sheepfolds. Sheep still graze there: the sheepfolds serve as a night shelter for the herds. In Ugchelen you cycle past the De Hamermolen watermill. The mill was built in 1644 as a paper mill. Electricity has been generated with the Hamermolen since 2005. There is another water mill on this route: the Ruitersmolen in Beekbergen. This paper mill is now in use as a flour mill, but in the attic of the mill there is an exhibition about the old paper making industry. Also get off in Beekbergen for a stopover at B&B De Koffietuin!
