Varied loop along the water, Arnhem, and Veluwezoom

Your cycling route starts at Recreation Park De Veerstal, beautifully situated at the transition between the Rhederlaag water sports area and the Veluwezoom. Via the beautifully rolling Veluwezoom, a national park, you cycle to Arnhem. You then ride along the water to Loo and Loowaard, before turning towards Zevenaar. Huis Sevenaer II, or Smollingshuse, is a 14th-century castle in Zevenaar. The house was renovated and modernized in 1785. What makes Huis Sevenaer unique is that it is the last original castle farm where medieval agricultural practices have been preserved: Huis Sevenaer is a mixed organic farm with vegetables, fruit, grain, and livestock.
