The estates of Central Brabant

From Auberge De Hilver you drive through the fields to Middelbeers. Then you cycle along the forest edge of the Baest Estate. Further on you dive into the extensive forests of De Oostelbeerse Heide and Buikheide. Mostly conifers grow here, although you also see oaks. In picturesque Vessem you drive past some old farms and the Jacobus mill. The heart of the village consists of a rectangular lawn. Get off nearby at Landgoed De Biesteuvel. In Hoogeloon you will pass the fourteenth-century tower of the demolished St. Pancratius Church. Further on is the new St. Pancratius Church from 1924. You cycle back to your starting point via the Neterselse Heide. This natural monument is very varied and has more to offer than just heathland, with fens, stream valleys, forests and rivers.
