With this tour you can get a breath of fresh air on beautiful Walcheren for a day. Enjoy the peace and culture of this former island. Soon after boarding, you can see De Koe from a distance, a windmill from 1909. Further on you drive through Veere. Get off and walk with your bike to enjoy the rich history of this old harbor town. You drive through the polders towards Dishoek. Then you drive through the wide polders again. The route also takes you through Koudekerke, Grijpskerke and Vrouwenpolder. Each and every one of these villages where old churches and the surrounding houses create a characteristic atmosphere.

Molen De Koe was built in 1909 as a replacement for an earlier mill from 1736 that had burned down. The mill is painted white according to the old Zeeland tradition.
