The Soester Dunes
In Soest you will find the sand drift Soester Duinen. There are hardly any trees in this area, which means that the drifting sand can drift freely. This area was once covered by moors, but those fields were soded and grazed by cattle. This is how the special current shifting sand area was created. Cycle straight through this nature reserve to the center of Soest. You will pass the windmill De Windhond. This mill was built between 2006 and 2008 on the site of a predecessor. You will find Soestdijk Palace on the municipal boundary of Soest. During a visit you will get to know Soestdijk Palace, where Prince Bernhard and Princess Juliana lived for a long time. Allow enough time to admire the palace.

At the end of the route you will arrive at the Hotel Kontakt der Kontinenten just outside Soesterberg. National Military Museum
