Do you like history, peace and good food? Then come cycling in Twente. First you cycle through the German-Dutch border area. Here you see a landscape of forests, farmlands and heathlands. Just past Beuningen it seems like you are cycling into an English postcard. Here you cycle through the famous Landgoed Singraven. Here you will find a beautiful country house and an old water mill that have nestled in a bend of the river Dinkel. You also pass through Ootmarsum. Thanks to the many beautiful monuments you can still taste the atmosphere of times gone by. Further on you cycle through the Springendal, the next gem of Twente. On the Johanninksweg you pass the Klöpkeshoes Maria Cloese on the left. The route ends with a tasty snack in the restaurant of Papillon Country Resort.
