In the ruins of the mill's-Heerenberg (body/remains) you can see bricks that were once in the city gates of the German Emmerich. Further on you will discover Kasteel Huis Bergh. The fortress from the thirteenth century is half enclosed by a rampart. There is also a moat around it as extra defense. Boetselaersborg in's-Heerenberg is a small castle that was built in 1550 by the brothers Daem and Hector van den Bergh. Then you fill your lungs with the fresh forest air of the Bergherbos. The rolling landscape not only offers beautiful views between the trees, the trees and beautiful views over organic fields and lovely church villages also alternate beautifully.
