Tour of nature near Weert and Nederweert

At the start of the route you cycle past Buitencentrum De Pelen. In this visitor center you will find more information about the Groote Peel. From here you cycle a few kilometers along the edge of this national park. On the second part of the route you will pass mill St. Antonius, a flour mill from 1860. This mill used to be used as an oil mill and flour mill, but now the mill is only used as a flour mill. A volunteer miller now keeps the mill running. You pass the canal intersection in Nederweert, where the Zuid-Willemsvaart makes a bend and meets two other canals.
