Nature tour near Weert and Nederweert

At the start of the route you cycle past De Pelen Outdoor Center. In this visitor center you will find more information about the Groote Peel. From here you cycle a few kilometers along the edge of this national park. On the second part of the route you will pass the St. Antonius mill, a flour mill from 1860. This mill was previously used as an oil mill and flour mill, but now the mill is only used as a flour mill. A volunteer miller now keeps the mill running. You pass the canal intersection in Nederweert, where the Zuid-Willemsvaart makes a bend and meets two other canals.
