The beautiful Maas route

The Maas Valley offers cyclists wonderful opportunities. The main architect of the valley is the Meuse: it provided beautiful ponds, swamps, flower-rich grasslands and rugged forests. You can park your car for free in Thorn. From the parking lot you cycle past the Limburg towns of Kessenich, Ophoven and many more beautiful places. You will also pass Stevensweert, the Maasplassen are a playground for sailing and motor boats, for surfers and swimmers, with various day beaches and marinas. In Stevensweert you will pass the Streekmuseum Stevensweert / Ohé en Laak. The last stop is at the Maas and Maritime Museum in Maasbracht.
