Description
The river De Linge meanders like a ribbon through the Gelderland landscape. There are beautiful villages on the water, such as Beesd. Further on, the Marienwaerdt Estate awaits you with its many monumental buildings and natural beauty. You imagine yourself a few centuries back in time here, so many beautiful monuments are still here. At De Pannekoekenbakker Buren you can enjoy a delicious meal before heading back to the banks of the Linge. You cycle through Buurmalsen and Geldermalsen, further on you pass the De Vlinder mill from 1913. A little later you pass an old armory on the dike and past Fort Asperen and Werk op de Spoordijk. The route ends at Camping BetuweStrand Recreatie.
