The beautiful countryside of Tilburg

Just outside Tilburg you will make a route full of natural beauty and sights. Hilvarenbeek is the largest village on your route. And the most beautiful!

Brabant country
On quiet roads it is quiet cycling through the Brabant countryside with its meadows and fields. You will soon pass the Leemputten, a small nature reserve. Further on you will cycle through Diessen and a few smaller villages. Just before junction 82 you will cycle past the Koningshoeven Abbey. You can stock up on something tasty in the abbey shop.

Gorp Estate
You cycle along the leafy banks of the Wilhelmina Canal, after which you soon enter Landgoed Gorp. You cycle through a mix of meadows, fields and woodlands where deciduous trees and conifers grow. Variety galore! In the hamlet of Gorp you pass a number of beautiful monumental farms. You also pass the nineteenth-century hunting lodge that the then lord of the manor had built here. Finally, you cycle along the historic Vrijthof in Hilvarenbeek.
