Nature walk through the Grotelsche Bos

Your route starts Herberg de Brabantse Kluis, a beautiful rural spot on the edge of De Biezen. At the start you already have a view of the beautiful nature reserve De Biezen. Together with Milschot, it forms a varied nature reserve. Here you will find a lush moist deciduous forest, coniferous trees and flowery grasslands. You make a nice big tour through this area and immediately discover the Grotelsche Bos or Grotels bos, a beautiful, quiet forest with a lot of variation. You also walk along the Aerlesche (or Aarlese) fish pond on the southern edge of the area. The area around the fish pond will be transformed into an area for recreation, but nature will also be strengthened with the construction of pools in the forest. Nature and recreation go hand in hand here!
