On the way to the castles

Start your cycling tour with a visit to Seneffe Castle and the silversmith's art museum. Entering this sumptuous estate, you will discover a number of treasures: 22 hectares of parkland and gardens that will delight nature and hiking enthusiasts, but also the largest collection of silverware in Belgium.

Then head towards the historic Brussels-Charleroi Canal. The green banks are the perfect place to stop and recharge your batteries.

Then you follow the route to the Castle of Écaussinnes-Lalaing, an important heritage site in Wallonia. It overlooks the village built around it from a rock face. It also houses a museum with the collections of Adrien van der Bruch: Hainaut porcelain, 17th and 18th century furniture...

Fancy a gastronomic break? During your journey to the castle, you can stop at Chevlait cheese dairy and enjoy the delicious artisan goat cheeses. If you can't get enough of the numerous castles in the region, you can make a stopover to catch a glimpse of the Chateau-Fort de Feluy.
